Services

  • I work with children and teens ages 5-17. I provide individual therapy sessions in person and through telehealth. I typically help my clients identify goals they would like to work on during therapy and specific steps they can implement to work towards their goals. Although I am not a play therapist, I love incorporating play and art into my work with children.

The clients I usually provide individual therapy to are facing challenges with difficult behavior, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, social skills, and other concerns that might be creating a disruption in family relationships or the school environment. I love helping children build coping skills in order to manage their big feelings in response to difficult circumstances. I enjoy helping parents strengthen their relationship with their child and build on their existing parenting strategies.

Parent involvement in therapy is very important for making progress on goals and supporting your child in between sessions. This looks different depending on the client’s age and needs. Some examples of parent involvement include: therapist and parent meeting at the beginning of individual sessions, therapist and parent meeting for a session without the child present, or a parent participating in the child’s session with them.

  • I work with adults 18 years old and older who are facing challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, life transitions, and stress. I provide individual therapy sessions in person and through telehealth. I typically help my clients identify goals they would like to work on during therapy and specific steps they can implement to work towards their goals.
